Oude Ambachten & Speelgoed Museum in Terschuur – Mees was going to have NeuroMovement this morning/afternoon, but Judith was sick and needed to cancel. So Mees got a big hug sent from his mama instead and then we did other things. Mees helped with laundry and emptying the dishwasher and then relaxed in his relax stool. He played with the soft yellow ball and decided after about 15min to push it onto the floor. Mees found this very funny! Then he helped tune the very out-of-tune guitar. Much better! Now some nice music. Tried to get Mees to use his finger to strum, but he only looked at me and laughed. So we strummed together. After this, Mees relaxed on the waterbed, had his breathing treatment and then we headed to the bus and went to Oude Ambachten & Speelgoed Museum in Terschuur. Mees went through the museum and saw lots of themed rooms with old equipment including a school, barber shop, iron shop, tobacco store, bikes, a printing press, a farm, fishing gear, music, photo cameras, kitchens, tools, hats and lots more. Mees got a lesson in making fishing nets for eels and tried out twisting rope for the top of a stool. Then we went up to the play room and explored different toys and games.
