Mees, birds and butterflies

Pantropica in Luttelgeest – Today Mees went to Pantropica in Luttelgeest. Mees enjoyed this very much! He explored many parts of the jungle and saw several animals including monkeys, several varieties of birds, butterflies, fish, meerkats, turtles, flamingos and alpacas. Also many plants and flowers. 

Mees got to feed fish, ducks and the Lorri birds. This was a favorite as the birds were entertaining, quite feisty and wasted no time landing on Mees for the sweet drink. Mees found it funny until one flew on his head. A bit of a shock, but Mees got a bit more used to them as they continued to walk over him. 

In the butterfly part of the jungle, Mees had a butterfly land on him three times. But it was so light and quiet that he didn’t really notice. Mees also started out doing a speurtocht, but didn’t finish. Still, he earned his jungle expert button. 

After all the fun, Mees relaxed on the mat at LL’s house; then it was time to head home and prep for bed –  Klik ‘read more’ voor meer foto’s  –  Laura Lynne
