Pigs, goats and music

Geertjes Hoeve en Bibliotheek Vleuterweide in Utrecht – Today after getting ready for his day, Mees watched the morning news and then listened to music. 

Then it was off to Utrecht for a few activities. First to Geertje’s Hoeve boerderij. Mees started a winter speurtocht here. There were several boards Mees needed to find. On the boards were pictures he needed to write down on his paper. In the end, we would find the secret word. However, we didn’t finish our hunt; so we’ll have to go again. During the speurtocht, Mees got to get close to pigs and goats. He helped brush the pigs with a brush and give the goats some green leaves to eat. 

After this, we headed to Bibliotheek Vleuterweide for a voorlees voorstelling, “Op zoek naar de schat van plezier”. A musical story about bored adventure seekers who find a map. The map lead to a treasure chest full of books. We explored the library a bit and then headed home. Mees enjoyed both activities –  Klik ‘read more’ voor meer foto’s  –  Laura Lynne
