Mees does chores at home

Chores at home – After getting ready for his day, Mees helped with the laundry and then had an appointment for his electric wheelchair. After the appointment, he sat back in his non-electric wheelchair. Shortly after this, Mees was trying to turn his head to make the chair move. But of course it didn’t. Jammer

In the afternoon, Mees relaxed on the waterbed and listened to Christmas stories. We also had fun making selfies. Then Mees sat in his relax chair and helped make a gingerbread house. This was quite an adventure! Mees helped stir water into waffel mix. We had no waffel machine, so the mix went into a toasty machine. When it was done, some oven time. Now it was hardened and ready for the next step. Mees helped cut the edges off the waffels and then pasted icing onto the sides. This was supposed to work like glue so the sides and roof of the house would stick together. But our waffels wouldn’t stick together! We gave the hot glue gun a try. It didn’t help as good as we had hoped, but the house was completed and stayed together…barely. 😂 Mees got to finish the gingerbread house (aka waffel house which looked a log cabin), with more icing and decorations. The decorations did stick. Yay! And the house stayed together. Looked good!
