Mees wordt aan het werk gezet

Thuis – This morning Mees got ready for his day and then helped start the wash. He watched the morning news and some featured articles from this week. Then he made music with LL on the piano. After this, Mees helped tidy up the play area outside. He swept leaves, dumped them in the green trash can and used the leaf blower. Well done! Back inside, Mees relaxed on the waterbed with Mick. He helped fold the clean laundry. Lekker warm. Then Timon joined on the waterbed. Gezellig!

This afternoon Mees helped prepare a nice dinner for a special guest. He sat in his relax chair and helped to spoon out seeds and flesh from pumpkins. He used the spoon, but also his hands. At first, he was like eww. Then it was ok. After the pumpkins were ready, he helped peel apples with the apple peeler. He wasn’t super motivated to push the button to start the peeler; but in the end, he peeled six apples. All the peels were in a pile after this and he found it funny to try and start a food fight by throwing the peels at the others. 😂 Well maybe it was LL’s idea, but Mees was all for it! We stopped before we got into big trouble though. Then Mees enjoyed playing with a large party balloon until dinner. Dinner was a bit boring for him, but during desert he tasted some ice cream and whip cream. Ice cream was too cold of course, but nice. The whip cream was better! Then it was time to prep for bed.
