Mees got the Junior Archaeologist Certificate.

ANNO stadsmuseum, Zwolle – Today after prepping for his day, Mees went to ANNO Stadsmuseum in Zwolle. It was archeology weekend and Mees could dig his hands into different activities that had to do with archeology. In an interactive treasure hunt, Mees got to try to match pieces of broken ancient pottery until it was back together, complete a puzzle to find what types of pottery matched the picture, study coins to learn their dates and time periods, find symbols on fossilized tobacco pipes and find a clay object in sand that he then had to chip away to find the treasure inside. After all his hard work, he earned his Junior Archeoloog certificate. After this, he took a look at exhibits in the museum. When our outing was finished, Mees relaxed on the mat at LL’s house and then explored to local kermis. Then it was back to the logeerhuis. Click ‘read more’ for more pictures – Laura Lynne
