Mees meets Santa Claus and his wife

Dickens festival in Bennekom – Went to Bennekom for the Dickens festival. We thought it started at 10:00, but it was 14:00. Since we arrived at 12:00, we were a little early. 😂 The festival had not yet started. We walked the route and watched people setting up. We found a pop up old book store and explored. We also found an art gallery called Galerie-Bonaventura. Mees enjoyed the paintings and sculptures inside. 

After this, Mees helped shop at the store for dinner items. Now finally, some festival fun! Mees got to help make a smoothie while Laura Lynne pedaled a bike. He tried some of the smoothie, but didn’t like it. Along the way, he met people dressed in Dickens attire and even a guy who was also named Mees. 🙃 Mees watched how bread was baked in an old oven and tasted in, but he didn’t care for it. LL thought it was yummy though!  

After this, Mees toasted a marshmallow to make a s’more. And when Mees tried some marshmallow, he liked it! 😋 And finally, Mees met Santa Claus and Mrs. Claus. Was leuk! It became crowded later, so we were glad to have come early – Klik ‘read more’ voor meer foto’s  – Laura Lynn
