Mees the Baker

Bakkerij museum in Hattem -Went to the Bakkerijmuseum. Mees made his own sugar cookie. He rolled the dough into a ball, flattened it with a rolling pin, used a form to shape it into a little man and then decorated it with smarties. After this, explored part of the museum that was downstairs. Ended with watching the bread show. Mees was sleepy at the start, but more alert towards the end. The baker made animals with the dough in an entertaining and interactive way. Rabbits, a swan, hedgehog and pig. Mees picked up his sugar cookie later and we tried not to eat it all. 😋

Enjoyed a piano concert at my house and then relaxed on the mat. Enjoyed the silly games and singing of my kids. Then headed back to the logeerhuis.

Had a detour on our walk back to the bus to check out a little waterfall. On the water were frog statues making music. Discovered it was titled, “Kikkers In Concert” for a Christian music association’s 100 years. Fun! –  Klik ‘read more’ voor meer foto’s  –  Laura-Lynn
