Sonnenborgh Museum & Sterrenwacht, Utrecht –

In the morning, we danced to 80s music with Merelieke. 🎶 Mees then went for a nice walk with Merelieke. Chilly, but the sun came out. Went to buy eggs, but there were none. Then headed to the local vegetable stand; but helaas, no nice veggies today. Walked to a second egg stand and success, found eggs. Back at the logeerhuis, Mees had a rest on the waterbed before our outing.

For the afternoon, Mees went to Sonnenborgh museum in Utrecht. Mees watched the planetarium show and learned about the stars, our earth, the sun, planets and our galaxy. Then he went into the museum to learn more. He read about stardust, touched a rock that was 4,5 thousand million years old, listened to a film about how time used to be measured, made a planet puzzle and put atoms together to make a molecule.
