The Color House

Went to the National Gallery Color House in Amersfoort. Looked at different paintings by eight different artists. The main artist was Juane Xue, a Chinese artist who lives in the Netherlands. She focuses on bright colors and plays with shadow and light in her paintings. Mees got to meet another one of the artists whose watercolor paintings were on display. We got a nice explanation of some of the different art works in the gallery. – Helped with shopping and choose brownies to bake later. – Had an appointment to fix his headrest. – Helped dump paper and glass.
